U.S. Senators Barbara A. Mikulski, Susan Collins to headline Edward M. Kennedy Institute Women in Leadership event

Elected officials from all levels of government to join for a conversation about the importance of women in office, the current climate of the U.S. Senate, and the presidential election

BOSTON - On Monday, March 7th, Senators Barbara A. Mikulski (D-MD) and Susan Collins (R-ME) will headline the Edward M. Kennedy Institute’s Women in Leadership Pathways and Possibilities Conference.

The conference will highlight women public servants at the federal, state and local levels and will feature current and former female U.S. Senators Mikulski, Collins, Warren, Hirono and Lincoln. Additionally the conference will include panel discussions with Massachusetts leaders State Senator Linda Dorcena Forry, Treasurer Deb Goldberg, former Treasurer Shannon O’Brien and State Representative Keiko Orrall, as well as Boston City Councilors Andrea Joy Campbell, Ayanna Pressley and Michelle Wu. The day will provide opportunities for young women to network with women peers and leaders.
