Senator Warren, Hosts of Pod Save America Discuss Necessity of Civic Participation May 25

Hosts of political podcast to lead forum on civic action at Kennedy Institute

BOSTON - On Friday, May 25, the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate will welcome Pod Save America hosts Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, and Tommy Vietor for a conversation on activism, advocacy, and the importance of diverse voices in political life. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) will participate in an interview with the hosts as a segment of the program.

Favreau, Lovett, and Vietor are the founders of Crooked Media, a company devoted to a “no-bullshit conversation about politics and culture” that hopes to inspire civic action amongst its followers. Their popular political podcast Pod Save America features journalists, politicians, and activists and attracts an average of 1.5 million listeners each episode.
