Is our democracy dying? Kennedy Institute convenes bestselling authors to discuss the impact of the current political landscape on United States democracy

BOSTON - On Tuesday, May 8th, the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate will welcome Harvard University professors Steven Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt to discuss the state of America’s democracy as outlined in their recently-released book “How Democracies Die.” In a moderated conversation with Boston College history professor Heather Cox Richardson, Levitsky and Ziblatt will share their insight on how the changing political landscape in the United States is threatening the state of our democracy, and how we can use the lessons learned from the evolution of governments from around the world to sustain it.
