Pedro Martinez to speak at Edward M. Kennedy Institute

Hall of Fame pitcher Pedro Martínez will visit for a discussion about his path from the Dominican Republic to the Hall of Fame as part of the Institute’s Getting to the Point Series

BOSTON – The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate will welcome Pedro Martínez to speak at the Institute on Thursday, November 19th. In a conversation moderated by WBZ-TV’s Dan Roche, Martínez will discuss his journey from the Dominican Republic to the Hall of Fame, as well as his recently released book Pedro.

The Getting to the Point series aims to convene individuals with diverse perspectives to discuss current issues and challenges facing the nation. Getting to the Point will take on various formats from town halls to keynote lectures and panel discussions, and will showcase speakers from all walks of life.

WHEN: Thursday, November 19th, 2015 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
