Boston Herald: Rachelle Cohen: Vicki Puts Stamp on TED Kennedy's Living Legacy
‘Teddy loved history and the Senate’
Vicki Kennedy stood amidst the plywood and plaster of what is well on its way to becoming the full-size replica of the U.S. Senate chamber where her late husband spent more than four decades of his life.
“I could never walk onto the floor of the Senate, not in all those years,” she said as she led a group of visitors around the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, now slated to open in March 2015. “Now I can walk here. Now you can.”
