Massachusetts Library Pass Program

The Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate’s Massachusetts Public Library Pass Program provides public libraries an opportunity to offer passes to their patrons for discounted admission to the Institute. Each participating library will receive one (1) pass valid for two (2) discounted tickets (a co-pay of $7) for each day the Institute is open to the public.

Museums & Attractions

The Institute’s facility is a 68,000 square foot building located on Columbia Point on the campus of the University of Massachusetts Boston (UMass Boston) and next door to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and the Massachusetts Archives and Commonwealth Museum, which houses the Commonwealth’s original copy of the Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence among many other relevant archival and educational resources. The Institute is also near the Boston HarborWalk, where visitors can walk, run, cycle or have a picnic along the waterfront.
