Edward M. Kennedy Institute to host conversation on child care with key stakeholders on Monday, December 2

Free child care to be offered on-site during the program

BOSTON – On Monday, December 2, the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate will host a moderated Getting to the Point discussion on the topic of child care. State and local leaders, advocates, and members of the business community will gather to talk about barriers to affordable, quality child care across Massachusetts and the effect this has on the industry and family security. The panel will explore efforts to strengthen access to affordable care at the local and state level, how lack of child care impacts the Commonwealth’s workforce, economy, and family security, and the importance of building a talent pipeline.

The Institute is partnering with Neighborhood Villages on this program and will provide child care services on-site for attendees throughout the evening. Registration is still available and interested guests are encouraged to register on the Institute’s website here.
